Redefining size zero: I AM HEALTHY SIZE ZERO

Misconceptions about healthy living have several implications. It leads to unhealthy lifestyle and ultimately deteriorating health. In order to attain the perfect body, many succumb to the option of starving. Few years back the trend was to flaunt size zero. So, what exactly is size zero? No one actually had any clear idea. But, all started starving to the effect of falling terribly sick, fainting and dilapidated health conditions. This was noted especially among teenagers. In this blog, I intend to discuss various topics related to human health. I am size zero but I do not starve. I follow a healthy diet that is immensely important given the stressful lifestyle that we have to deal with in modern times. Firstly, there is nothing called a perfect body. Perfection is in itself an illusion.

We are humans- we do fall sick-even those with high cheek bones have their face swelled up during fever. Definition of good looks varies. Yes, we need to be in proper shape as it also impacts upon the kind of health that we enjoy. There is nothing good about a bloated belly- as it signifies a poorly maintained diet and body. So, ultimately it is all about good health and of course a healthy mind.

As I mentioned above, I am size zero but I have a glow. My body doesn't give the impression of a starved body. It is in shape and maintained healthily. I have healthy hair and and a naturally flawless skin. I do follow a healthy diet regimen that has the necessary proportion of healthy dietary elements. Having said that, I do not deprive myself of chocolates or desserts either. Desserts stand as my all time favorite but I eat everything within limits. I do not follow any trend that is harmful for my health. No matter how strenous life gets, I never smoke. I sleep on time; eat at frequent intervals, intake sufficient fluids and no wonder the effect shows upon my body. I never made any effort to remain size zero but this is the way I am or rather my choice of food or lifestyle lets me remain this way. I have seen many falling prey to body shaming. I would urge all not to go for body shaming. There are many factors that influence our lifestyle. From hormonal factors to work pressure, there are times when we do not find enough time to look after ourselves properly. I admit that is wrong-health should always be a priority. But, equally wrong is body shaming. Let us not intimidate people based on their looks. Let us not follow a lifestyle based on false or insufficient information. Let us embrace our body the way it is; follow a healthy diet, stay confident. And most important-let our minds stay healthy!

Fashion is freedom. An art to explore. Self-driven and my strength to conquer the world.
